  • Lodi is located in the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley. It is conveniently nestled between the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the east, and the San Francisco Bay Area to the west. The Valley is criss-crossed with rivers and sloughs forming the San Joaquin Delta system. During the Spring and Summer months, these waterways provide excellent recreational opportunities including boating, swimming, fishing and Water Skiing. The waterways wind their way West, ultimately spilling in to San Francisco Bay.

    San Joaquin County The Bay Area is little more than an hour's drive from , providing easy access to Sporting events, Cultural activities, and world-famous tourist attractions. Travel East and you'll discover the old-world charm of the Gold Country foothills and rugged Sierra Nevada Mountain range which is home to Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe! Reno and South Lake Tahoe (Nevada) are also popular spots for gaming and vacationing.

    During the fall and winter months, you can take a short drive East to some of the best Snow Skiing areas of the United States with resorts like Heavenly Valley, Kirkwood, Bear Valley, Squaw Valley and Sugar Bowl.

    San Joaquin County covers more than 1,400 square miles. Its territory stretches over 75 miles from north to south, and nearly 65 miles from east to west. The lowest elevation is 12 feet BELOW sea level (in the river delta) and the highest is over 3,000 feet!

    There are over 550,000 residents in the county of San Joaquin. Estimated population density is over 392 residents per square mile. Average family income is estimated to be $38,000 per year. The population ethnicity ratio is estimated as follows:

    Climate & Rainfall
    The average January temperature is 54 degrees, while July is a toasty 93 degrees. Average rainfall is about 14 inches. In the evenings during the spring and summer months, residents are treated to a wonderful "Delta Breeze" that often blows in from the San Francisco Bay and winds it's way through the delta waterways.

    Agriculture
    Lodi is an abundant agricultural area, producing an abundant harvest of crops that include Grapes, Asparagus, Cherries, Walnut, Almond, Corn, Wheat, Tomato, Rice, Strawberry, and much more! There are an estimated 783,000 plus acres in production on some 4,000 farms.

    Lodi's atmosphere is more relaxed than the "big city life" of the Bay Area, but technologically advanced enough to offer all of the modern day conveniences of living! Small communities provide a haven from the bustling city life of the Bay Area. Larger communities, provide the benefits of both.
