The San Joaquin Valley is an ideal location, providing cool winter evenings and hot summer afternoons. It is located between the Bay Area to the west, which provides beautiful ocean views and moderate climate. To the east are the Sierra Nevada mountains and Gold Country which provides winter snow and breathtaking scenery.

During the hot summer months, children often frequent the fountain at the center of Martin Luther King, Jr. Park just across the street from the Stockton Public Library Main Branch.

There is an abundance of spots to explore, many less than 1-hour driving time from any central valley locations.
