Volunteer Your Time
All player parents are required to volunteer their time (an equal share) to raise funds for the Flying Tigers Program. There are many ways to get involved including:
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER
As a member of the Executive Board you would help make decisions that guide the organization to provide the best instructional programs possible.
TEAM COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
The team communications manager handles phone calls and emails to a specific team in order to insure effective communication of
practice schedules, fundraising activities, informational notifications, and game schedules. In essence, the team communications manager is a team mom who handles communication between the coach and players parents.
FUNDRAISING CHAIRPERSON
Each team must have at least one parent on the Fundraising Committee in order to help identify and execute fundraising opportunities.
ASSISTANT COACHES
Practice coaches who are willing to help the coaching staff implement individual skill drills, fitness activities, and plays for the team.
TEAM TREASURER
Manages a team's finances, contributions, expenses, and budget. Balances the checkbook and provides financial reports.
LEGAL COUNSEL
A parent who can provide a team with pro-bono legal advice.
